Hello Again! Erica here with another exciting topic to discuss!

This weather that we’ve been having lately is gorgeous! However it is also super scary as well. December and January have been the dryest months in recent history. North Bay Landscape Management has been monitoring the situation very closely and has adjusted our irrigation systems accordingly.

To help conserve water it is going to be imperative that the irrigation systems work properly. We have begun our annual diagnostics and our clients will soon be receiving the recommendations.

The second item is that all planters should be mulched so that moisture is retained and the planted areas do not dry out as quickly as bare dirt.

Our in house design team is always available to help with ideas to renovate landscapes with the objective of reducing water usage while still acheiving a beautiful landscape.

Please contact our office if you have any questions about water conservation and ways that we can help you reduce your water usage.

Have a great day everyone!

As winter approaches all irrigation should now be turned off. During the rainy months, we make use of the free water from the sky that will provide plenty of moisture for outdoor plants and lawns.

Leaf debris continues to be the biggest maintenance item we are currently deal with on a day to day basis. Leaves are constantly dropping between maintenance days. Our maintenance crews are working hard to catch the leaves as they fall and making sure properties look good when they leave.

Annuals are very limited for the winter season. The most desirable are Cabbage, Pansies, Cyclamon, Viola and Kale. These tend to hold up best in the cold wet weather and survive. If you are wanting to plant annuals on your property for this winter, give us a call and we can get a quote to you!
